William was a very good man and always flashed a smile. I did not realize he was a singer in his church or I would have gone to his church to listen. I also sing in my church at Mountain Creek Baptist in Greenville.
We have missed him in our monthly luncheon of former Paris School men, on the 3rd Thursday of each month (12:30) at Harvey's restaurant on Wade Hampton Blvd. in Greenville. William sure did put up a gallant fight against his lung cancer. Ronald Moore made a true statement when he said this world would be a better place with people like William.
Ronald Moore
If more of us were like Bill, the world would be so much better.
I'm just sorry for not having a chance to know him better.
May you rest in peace "BILL"
